The venues are located at exhibition sites where quilters and lovers of textile works meet. We hope to reach the art world as well, particularly at Heidelberg and Gouda. The venues will be held in 2017-2018 at MECC at Maastricht, NL; Heidelberg, DE; Val d’Argent, FR; London, UK; Dublin, IRL; Harrogate, UK, and Gouda, NL.

The works on display will be selected by an international jury on their artistic quality only. There will be no competition. The members of the jury are Cosabeth Parriaud, France; Cas Holmes, United Kingdom; Beatrijs Sterk, Germany/the Netherlands, and Hanne Capel, NL. All are academically trained in textile art and/or art history.

Participants will be free to submit their works in any shape, design or theme they choose, provided the works are textile-made or textile-based. For detailed information on the jury and the venues, see page ‘exhibitions’. We would appreciate newly made works, but that is no obligation: recent work will do as well. Good works of art may be seen twice.
